When not busy with their official football duties, the McCourty twins are frequently making the world a better place with their actions. Monday evening was the annual Tackle Sickle Cell Casino Night in Boston. According the Boston Medical Center, this year's event raised $375,000 in support of BMC's Center of Excellence in Sickle Cell Disease.

Before the 2019 NFL season began the talking heads over at ESPN had the Browns ranked as the #10 team. After 6 games they've accumulated 2 wins and an average of 20 points per game. Have they faced a lot of defensive powerhouses? No. Have they suffered significant injuries on the offensive side of the ball? No. Are they going to get a beat down in Foxboro? Yes.
A month ago the Luke Falk led Jets came into Foxboro and left with a 30-14 loss. The Patriots didn't cover the spread and they gave up two touchdowns. With the team now heading into enemy territory without Josh Gordon or Rex Burkhead, should we be worried? No. What about the fact that Sam Darnold is now back under center, should that make us worry? No.
If you listened to any NFL news this past week, you surely heard that the Patriots are a fake 6-0 since they haven't played anyone. Since I like to get the facts before entering into an argument with the haters, I've taken the time to look at all of the top ranked teams' schedules.
Six weeks into the 2019 season and the Patriots’ defense has scored more points than their opponents’ offenses. Because this makes for great water cooler talk and it’ll be easier for everyone if I just keep the tally going for the season in one place, here we go.
