John Lester was the sore luck loser today as the Red Sox offense couldn't string their hits together. Although they had 9 hits on the day, they only managed one run on a Grady Sizemore solo shot to tie it up in the 4th. The last time Sizemore had a homerun was on July 15, 2011. That homerun was at Camden Yards as well.
 New England Hockey fans have two big games to keep tabs on today. At 12:30 the Bruins take on the Philadelphia Flyers in an attempt of getting their 9th straight road victory. At 5:00 the Boston College Eagles take on the UMass-Lowell Chiefs, I mean Riverhawks, with the winner heading to the Frozen 4.
 Jarome Iginla ignited the Bruins' offense with 2 goals in today's victory against the Washington Capitals. Patrice Bergeron and Carl Sodergerg also played a huge part in today's victory as they both had multiple point games.
In the past 24 hours there have been a few transactions across the NFL involving both Patriots' players and players who the Patriots have been rumored to be interested in. Here is my take on these players and the Patriots.

After having their winning streak snapped by the Canadiens on Monday, the Bruins bounced back nicely by shutting out the visiting Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 3-0.
