Tomorrow is the day Patriots fans have been looking forward to for over a month. Will Roger Goodall come to his senses and #freetombrady from the most ridiculous suspension ever given out, or will he shock the fan base once again? Although I initially refused to use the term deflategate, the story didn't die out in January like it should have. Here are links to my posts on the topic including some original theories on what is try going on.

I really haven't had much time to blog this past week as I've been getting ready for a family trip in St. Croix.....woohoo. And the one day I did have time to get my thoughts and some baseball statistics together, the internet went down for 6 hours, thanks Comcast. With that I'm going to give you some quick thoughts in just 5 minutes. Technically, I'm now probably down to about 4 minutes.
Yesterday the New England Patriots released linebacker Brandon Spikes following the onset of an investigation into a possible hit and run accident from over the weekend. While many people have used this situation to rip on Spikes, the Patriot organization, Urban Myer, etc. I'm going to use it for a different purpose.
During the 2014 season the Red Sox took a chance on former All-Star centerfielder Grady Sizemore. This season they threw an insane amount of money at another former All-Star Pablo Sandoval. At this point in the season, Sandoval has had 12 less plate appearance than Sizemore did before the Red Sox cut their losses. Here is a comparison of both players while wearing the Red Sox uniform.
Nineteen losses in twenty-nine games is never a good thing. After having a pretty good month of April the Red Sox really stunk up the ballpark during the month of May. In their 12 games in Fenway they managed only four wins. While it seemed like they really struggled against lefties, when the decision came down to southpaws they were actually a respectable 5-6, yes 5-6 is respectable when you go 5-13 against righties.
