It's week 4 of the NFL season and the Patriots could get their 3rd loss of the season. While I don't anticipate that happening, if they don't have some better play calling starting with their first possession, it could be a long day in Foxboro.

On my way to work this morning I heard a WEEI producer call out Rob Gronkowski as being selfish by padding his stats. Ken Laird claims that Gronk had multiple touchdowns last season at the end of games in blowouts. When he was informed that Gronk only had 8 touchdowns last season he didn't back down. Laird still insisted that Gronk's boy Tom Brady was feeding him easy touchdowns at the end of blowouts. Hearing this ridiculous accusation, I took to the internet and did some research.
If you feel like the Patriots are always on defense this season, you may be onto something. Here is a statistical look at the 34 times the Patriots have had the ball this season.
The Patriots had a bad game and Tom Brady is pissed. The Lions are a dumpster fire and have surrendered 78 points in two games. Based on that, the Patriots should come out of Motown with a record or two. While that is still a possibility, there are several things the Patriots will need to do to move to 2-1 on the season.
Based on paper, today's game should be a tight one down in Jacksonville. If the Patriots want to win and possibly make it look like an easy victory it will come down to three things.
