Shutout- Getting a shutout in an NFL game doesn't happen very often. Thursday's shutout was the first by a Patriots' defense since 2012. Moreover, it was the first time in 13 years that the Texans failed to score.

People in the know are tweeting that Gronkowski is suiting up and Garoppolo is not. This has me worried.
According to Jeff Howe, there isn't a single coach or player who likes Thursday NFL games. While that may generally be true, you know that Rex Ryan was jealous that the Texans were getting to play New England this week. Can you imagine the incredible sound bites which would have come from him this week if the Patriots were playing the Bills?
By now you know that the Patriots held onto their lead against Miami after losing quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a shoulder injury. Backup Jacoby Brissett came in and held his own with help from some spectacular running by LeGarrette Blount. So what else happened?
After coming off a solid win in Arizona, the last thing the Patriots need to do is lose their home opener to Miami. If they take care of a few things from my list, they will be 2-0 heading into a quick turnaround.
