After last week's win, you might have heard that Bill Belichick has a 13-4 record as the head coach of the Patriots. Do you know what his record is in the Sunday games which follow those Thursday games?
Over the past three games the Patriots' opponents have only scored 13 points. While it is mostly a sign of a dominating defense, it is also due in part to solid play by both special teams and the offense. While we will look at how those 13 points were scored, I'll also give you some recent comparables for previous Patriots teams.
Both teams have a short week to prepare for tonight's matchup. The Patriots are coming off of a decisive home win against the Browns. While the Falcons are returning home after being blown out by the Cowboys. While in previous years this might be a "trap game", I don't see that happening this year. Expect the Patriots to get their winning streak to 5 games and the Falcons to be still searching for their 5th win.
After two pretty solid road victories, the Patriots are back in Foxborough trying to secure their second home victory of the season. Yes, we are in the middle of November and the Patriots only have one home win.
