Do the Patriots and Raiders both walk out of Gillette with matching 2-1 records today? I think so. Here are some things to consider when watching today's game.
There were two things the Boston Celtics did in last night's game which paved the way to a much better looking product and end results. Unlike going with something generic and unrepeatable, I'm not going to go with the lazy man's rationale about making shots. These are actually two items which the team has 100% control over regardless of what Miami is doing and if they are getting calls or not.
With one game in the books, it's still pretty hard to predict what we have with this year's Patriots team. While Cam ran like Cam and gave the offense a different look, we all know how quickly an offense can change when a key player gets injured.
Usually before Patriots games I like to get into what they need to do in order to win. Having not had a chance to see this year's team in action or peruse through any sort of pre-season statistics for either team, this pregame outlook may be a bit different than in previous years.
