After wasting a golden opportunity to make up some ground in the AL East during their recent West Coast trip, the Red Sox made some small gains this past weekend while in New York.
This weekend in New York could serve as a turning point for the Red Sox. Of course the trip out west could have been that turning point, but they only managed 2 wins while the rest of the AL East did everything they could to help them out.
Well, it's pretty obvious what I was hoping would happen.
Because it amazes me how many people complain about Jackie Bradley Jr. not doing enough offensively yet still think Stephen Drew is an asset because of what he brings defensively I had to write this post.
If you can't remember the last time the Red Sox offense was this meek, that's okay because it certainly has been a while. So how far off their usual pace are they?
