Usually, I write about the things the Patriots need to do in order to beat their opponents. Today's post will be a combo of what they need to do to win, and what they just generally need to do.
What is up with people manipulating data to try and prove a point. There's enough of that crappy data analysis by sponsored researchers in medicine and government, do we really need it in sports? After seeing some Brady hater make a ridiculous post on Twitter, I decided to check the numbers. Here they are:
If you think about who the elite quarterbacks have been over the past decade, the names Brady, Manning and Rodgers come to mind. Fans without an elite quarterback on their team frequently complain about the calls that the top quarterbacks get. Looking at some statistics from the past 9 seasons there is definitely a penalty call this group reaps the benefits from more often.
With Thanksgiving upon us and the Patriots in command of the AFC East once again, it's time for everyone to come out of the woodwork to say how bad the East is. Once again, that popular take is dead wrong.
If the Patriots could just do what they did last week, that would guarantee a win. With things not being as easy as that, here are some points of emphasis they should focus on.
