With a chance to get their 7th win and then be in position to drop the Bills to 0-3 in the division next Thursday, the Patriots have work to do on this holiday evening. While it will be work, I think the game will be a fun win for the Patriots and fans.

The Patriots are 2-2 at home this year. If we only count games that Mac started, then we are looking at 1-2. Should we total up Mac's home games from last year and we are looking at 5-7, not much of a home field advantage. Usually a pathetic road team, the Jets are a perfect 4-0 on the road this season. While Vegas usually gives the home team 3 points before they lay down the spread, giving 3 points to the Patriots this week is unwarranted in my opinion. Can the Patriots win today? Of course they can, read on for what they need to do.
I'm sure you've heard them on the radio. You know, the callers and radio personalities who think bringing back Josh McDaniels is what the Patriots need to get the offense and Mac Jones back on track. In their minds it's all Matt Patricia and Joe Judge's faults. Are they right?
Lately it seems like the Patriots need a huge play from either the defense or special teams in order to win. These huge plays aren't just your ordinary stops, but more in line with either putting points on the board or giving the offense a ridiculously short field. Wondering if this was a feeling or a fact, I looked back at all of the wins from this year and last year looking for big plays. Here's what I found.
There are two things preventing the Patriots from having a winning record. If they plan on moving above 500 before heading into their bye week, they'll need to overcome both of them.
