This weekend in New York could serve as a turning point for the Red Sox. Of course the trip out west could have been that turning point, but they only managed 2 wins while the rest of the AL East did everything they could to help them out.
I'm currently having good thoughts about this weekend. Papi has been getting his groove back and Pedroia is going to really start heating up.
Dustin usually starts off slow and then turns it up in June. Although we are about to turn the calendar, I think he's going to start getting hot. I'm going to blame his later than normal hotness on the fact that he probably didnt get back to baseball until later in the winter this season because of last year's long season and his injury. As my dad would say, "mark my words".
Another good thing about this weekend is that all the games are night games. While I don't have the winning percentage in front of me, the Red Sox winning percentage during day games is similar to my Stephen Drew's batting average?
If you are wondering what the deal is with my current format, I'm at the beach and blogging from my phone. Regardless, bookmark my page and follow me on twitter BOSsportschick.... That's me.
