Well, it's pretty obvious what I was hoping would happen.
As a Rondo fan, I wasn't really thrilled to see the Celtics use their first pick on a point guard. Although Marcus Smart may turn out to be a good player, picking him up without a trade on the horizon really isn't working for me.
The entire Celtics organization seems to be thrilled that James Young was still available at 17. I'm hoping that maybe that's code for "we now have enough trade bait to go get some El-Oh-Vee-Eee".
At least I can go to bed tonight with the hope that the Celtics can still make something happen since the Twolves haven't done anything.
