After playing one of their worst games in recent memory, the Red Sox put on a clinic in Toronto Friday night. The team combined for 16 hits, 6 walks and 8 runs, while the pitchers only allowed 6 hits, 2 walks and 1 run. For a team that has been having a bit of a Jeckyll and Hyde season, the team was all Dr. Jekyll tonight.

Since playing a flu induced lethargic game one last Friday night, the Boston Bruins have upped the intensity in their series against the Red Wings. After being shut out on their home ice on Tuesday, the Red Wings may be bringing back Henrik Zetterberg sooner than intended.
Last night's Red Sox game had a little bit of everything for the fans. Depending on which team you were rooting for, it was either all good or all bad. In his first start against the Red Sox, it was blatantly obvious that Michael Pineda had a foreign substance on his hand. While pictures and comments made their rounds on the tv, radio, and internet, Red Sox manager John Farrell did not ask the umpires to check him.
Well, I was kind of hoping that the rain would stick around a little longer and we might get a night off from the Red Sox. Last night's game was pretty much a disaster for all those involved. Luckily, I spent most of the night watching the Bruins dominate the Red Wings to go up 2-1.
