Prior to game 5, I was concerned that the Bruins couldn’t play scared going into the corners. Heading into elimination game 6 I’ve got addition plans.
Assuming the Blues play their typical dirty style of headhunting hockey, there’s only one plan of action I want to see from the Bruins tonight.
Step one- after one of their typical headshots or runs at Tuukka, wait a second or two for the whistle. If there is a whistle, chill out and go to the powerplay.
Assuming there isn’t a whistle, I want a benches clearing, gloves off brawl.
As as far as I’m concerned the referees and NHL have brought this upon themselves. If that means the National Guard needs to come in to get the players off the ice, so be it.
