The one Eagle the Patriots need to focus on is Zach Ertz. In their last two games the Patriots have struggled against opposing tight ends giving up 11 receptions on 13 targets. Knowing that he is pretty much their only weapon combined with the fact that the Eagles will be relying on Jay Ajayi out of the backfield should make this a pretty easy task for the defense.
Ajayi will be thrust into the Eagles backfield after not seeing a snap since last season when he tore his ACL. While he is obviously educated on the Eagles' offense, conditioning and contact will keep him from being a realistic threat. If I were in a location which let me bet on whether or not Ajayi would fumble the ball today, I would definitely take the bet.
There are multiple reasons to expect a big game from Tom Brady. One of the big reasons is the fact that he has more weapons at his disposal than he's had since the week 2 experiment. Already trusting Sanu, Brady also has a healthy Edelman and a new toy. I'm expecting both N'Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers to have their numbers called a few times. It is worth noting that Brady has had some of hisbest games the day after the Michigan/Michigan State game and that game was yesterday.
As usual, at least one of the Patriots running backs will have a big day of sorts. James White will likely be a big part of the passing game as usual and Sony Michel will probably punch it into the end zone once or twice.
