HOW DOES TOM BRADY DO THE DAY AFTER THE MICHIGAN/MICHIGAN STATE GAME?

About to post about a completely different topic, I turned on the tv and there it was: Michigan vs. Michigan State football.  Suddenly I decided I must find out how Tom Brady does in his game following the iconic rivalry.

Prior to the conclusion of today's game, there has been 18 Michigan/Michigan State football games since Brady took over for an injured Drew Bledsoe.  At this point the teams are even at 9 wins a piece.  Here's a look at Brady's results and statistics following these games.

Having not played in 2008 due to his season ending knee injury, Brady has played in a total of 17 games following the rivalry.  His record during those games is 15-2.  Both of his losses occurred in games following overtime wins by the Wolverines.  In 2004 Michigan needed 3 overtimes to beat State.  The following day Brady and the Patriots suffered a 34-20 point loss in Pittsburgh.  In 2005 Michigan beat State 34-31 in one extra session and the Patriots got their doors blown off by San Diego 41-17.  

With both of his losses coming off of Michigan victories, Brady's record following his alma mater's wins is 7-2.  When Michigan State wins Brady is a perfect 8-0.
