Last week I attempted to sit down and write about a few of the top NBA prospects that the Celtics have to choose from assuming they don't trade away their top pick. Instead I ended up writing about why the Celtics should not take Lonzo Ball.
While I don't think Ball is worthy of being a top ten pick, let alone the number one pick, I do like Fultz a lot.

He was a bit of a late bloomer and is still very young. Entering high school at 6 ft, he played on his junior varsity squad most of his high school career because his coaches didn't want him wasting time on the bench. Fultz is now 6'4" and 195. He just turned 19 yesterday (May 29th).
Markelle can get his own shot and hit jumpers off a screen. He also can hit his teammates with some slick passes. Moreover, one listen to his mom and you'll want Cambells soup to bring back their advertisement campaign.

Celtics is a great team full of great athlete. Instead of using their best who happens to be Markelle Fultz, there are other athletes out there who are waiting for their perfect time. Only if their coach will try to trust them with the overall flow of the game, Celtics can still hold the top spot because their athletes are given equal chance to play and unleash their skills. I believe in the capacity of Fultz to carry the team, but others deserve it too.
