DEFLATEGATE: THOUGHTS, ANALOGIES AND LINKS

It's been one week since the NFL came up with one of the most ridiculous punishments.  As a Patriots fan I am glad that the team came back with a rebuttal and that Brady is fighting his suspension.  While I didn't have much time to blog about this last week, I had many conversations with coworkers, friends and strangers. 

BLOWHARDS-Like just about everyone who likes to incorrectly complain about what Spygate was and wasn't, it seems all the blowhard fans and media who think the suspension is justified or not harsh enough have absolutely no clue about this situation.  It's really simple in my mind, the ball needs to be between 12.5 and 13.5 when the umpires inspect it before the game.  After that it should not be intentionally manipulated or there will be a fine and possibly some other consequences.  If one of these blowhards could point out where any evidence (even the circumstantial crap) shows that the balls were manipulated between that time frame at the direction of Tom Brady.......

PERSUASIVE ESSAY-Do you remember writing persuasive essays in high school?  In my opinion, that's all the Wells Report is, a persuasive essay.  The mustache's goal was to persuade John Q. Public that Tom Brady and the Patriots manipulated the air pressure of a football in violation of the rules to gain a competitive advantage over their favorite team.  While that was the assignment, little Teddie couldn't find any information to help with his persuasion, so he instead complains about the library not being open when he wanted to go there.  Additionally, the library did not have the books and magazines that he wanted to use.  After typing up his crappy essay, which is completely off topic, he realizes that the teacher had told the class that the paper had a to be a certain number of pages.  After realizing that his essay was much too short he decided to copy and paste full paragraphs from one page onto another, surely the teacher wouldn't notice this little gimmick when she was grading.

KRAFT- For those people who think Kraft should just shut up and take the punishment because he said they would.........that would be like offering someone an Italian dinner and they try to swindle you for a flight, hotel, and all other expenses required to travel to Italy.
