January 19, 2002 the Patriots beat the Oakland Raiders in what will forever be known as the "tuck rule" game. Chances are good that you are quite familiar with that game and the ruling. As a Patriots fan I am always reminded of it whenever I read the comments to an article about the Patriots. No matter how egregious a call is against the Patriots, and there have been many, trolls will always bring up the "tuck rule". WHILE IT WOULDN'T WIN A BEAUTY PAGEANT, PATRIOTS' VICTORY OVER CHARGERS WAS DEFINITELY DATEABLE12/9/2014 Sunday night the Patriots got back to their winning ways when they overtook the Chargers in San Diego by a score of 23-14. With the win the Patriots maintained the top spot in the AFC with three games left to play in the regular season.
