After coming off a solid win in Arizona, the last thing the Patriots need to do is lose their home opener to Miami. If they take care of a few things from my list, they will be 2-0 heading into a quick turnaround.
Solid Tackling- For the most part, the Patriots made some solid tackles last week. There were very few occasions where someone missed a tackle. This will be important this week as Jarvis Landry's bread and butter is his yards after the catch. Seeing that Landry is a slot receiver and the Patriots have pretty much defined that position over the past 10 seasons, they should probably have no problem keeping him in check.
Although he is nursing a hamstring and now playing for the fish, Arian Foster is always a player that you need to keep contained from start to finish. Tomorrow should be no different.
Get to the Quarterback- Tannehill is 0-4 in New England and has been sacked 22 times. With center Mike Pouncy not playing tomorrow and the fact that Seattle got to Tannehill 5 times just last week, the Patriots should be able to get to the quarterback a time or two.
Solid Special Teams- As I see it, the only way the Patriots lose is if they have a few major blowups on special teams. While I don't envision that happening, I can see the Patriots completely blowing out the Dolphins if they make a big play with special teams.
