People in the know are tweeting that Gronkowski is suiting up and Garoppolo is not. This has me worried.
No, I'm not worried about Gronk suiting up too early. No, I'm not worried about Jacoby Brissett being able to call plays and execute the offense.
What I am worried about is the possibility of both Brissett and backup Julian Edelman having to go to the sideline because of "concussion protocol". Am I worried about them truly leaving the game because of concussion symptoms? No, although that is a realistic possibility it is not what I'm throwing out there. What I am unfortunately putting out there for thought is the fact that it's Thursday night football and Goodell will be pissed if the Patriots pull another Houdini and go 3-0.
We all know Goodell is willing to do anything to put the Patriots at a disadvantage, a simple phone call to the side line is right up his alley.
