Yesterday the New England Patriots released linebacker Brandon Spikes following the onset of an investigation into a possible hit and run accident from over the weekend. While many people have used this situation to rip on Spikes, the Patriot organization, Urban Myer, etc. I'm going to use it for a different purpose.
In time we will know more about what happened the other night on 495. Prior to the full story coming out chances are you will have a drink or two before jumping behind the wheel. Now I'm not saying you are going to put yourself in position to drink and drive. I'm not even saying that you will be "buzzed driving" (yes, I know that is drunk driving). What I'm saying is that you might be absolutely fine when it comes to your speech and coordination levels, but could you pass a breathalyzer test?
Again I am by no means saying that Spikes was in fact driving drunk, but with all the accusations floating around at this time and everyone acting like they are a Saint, making people think about "
