FYI- The game is on NESN
I'm predicting they will. First off, they are playing on home ice where they have a record of 25-7-2. Their opponent, the Coyotes have an away record of 12-13-8. Advantage Bruins. Both teams are on a bit of a winning streak. The Bruins have won 6 in a row and are coming off a 4-1 victory against the Canadiens while the Coyotes have won 2 in a row. The Coyotes' recent victories have come against the Lightning and the Panthers. In other words, the Coyotes are coming in and kicking around teams after the Bruins have already knocked them down. Advantage Bruins. When it comes to scoring and preventing goals, the Bruins once again have the advantage. As a team the Bruins have given up an average of 1.79 goals during home games. Although backup goalie Chris Johnson will likely be in net for the Bruins, he is not much of a dropoff from Rask when you look at the number of goals he has given up this season. Going into the game Johnson's GAA is 2.22 while Rask's is 2.12. I wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson's number drop tonight as the Coyotes will be without several players including 37 point scorer Martin Hanzal. FYI- The game is on NESN
