The December game quite possibly was one of the worst losses of the season. The Bruins squandered a 3-1 lead in record setting fashion. First off the Bruins played shorthanded 8 times in the game. Not really a wise move since they were already shorthanded from losing Seidenberg a few days earlier. They ended up killing 50% of the penalties which translates into giving up 4 powerplay goals. One of the powerplay goals came with 3 seconds left to the second period. If that wasn't bad enough the Bruins gave up the go-ahead goal a mere 32 seconds into the the third period.
