BOSTON BRUINS' PLAYERS CELEBRATE A VICTORY
After having a four day break, the Bruins take the ice at 1pm in Philadelphia. This will be their third matinee game in a row. While another day game may be bad for the fan
who turns on the television at 7pm to catch the game, it's been a good thing for the Bruins this season.
This season the Bruins are 6-1-1 in their early games. With 8 games left before the Olympic break the Bruins schedule has 3 day games including today's in Philly. Hopefully, the energy they've been showing on the ice lately continues in the city of brotherly love In their early games the Flyers are 2-2-2.
This is the first of three times this season that the Bruins will be facing the Flyers. Philadelphia's goalie, Steve Mason, will be sporting a new mask with zombie paint on it. Forward Chris Kelly (broken fibula 12/7) and defenseman Dougie Hamilton (concussion) have been cleared to play and will both be making the trip. Whether they crack the lineup and get some ice time is still yet to be determined by Coach Julien.
