WHO WINS IF THE PATRIOTS TRADE GRONK?

Gronk getting traded has been a pretty popular topic this off-season. Would this be good for Gronk and his people? Would Belichick do it just to show that no player is untouchable? Read on for my thoughts on the topic.
PATRIOTS' STANDPOINT- Belichick claims to always do what's best for the team. While sometimes it takes a season to see that he was right and everyone else was wrong, the writing is usually on the wall much faster.
There are two circumstances in which trading Gronk would benefit the Patriots. Both are situations in which he doesn't end up playing for another team due to either retirement or injury. So regardless of how great of a player or pick we would get for Gronk, it isn't a true win for the Patriots if Gronk is playing for another team.
Having seen Bill make trades, he doesn't seem to trade offensive weapons who will be ultra successful outside of the Patriots' system. If you look back to this past season and the theories of why Jimmy G. went to San Francisco, you can see what I mean.

While the Patriots have shown they can win without Gronk, if you watch him play, you know he is a game changer. Should he play for a team other than the Patriots his productivity would be even greater. Instead of being molested all over the field and getting phantom OPI calls, he'd actually draw penalties for a change.
GRONKS' POINT OF VIEW- Gronk and his people want Gronk healthy when he decides to leave the NFL. If he is going to continue with his NFL career, playing for the Patriots is his best situation. While his family may have doubted New England's concerns about keeping Gronk healthy earlier in his career, I think they know that Kraft and Belichick want a healthy Gronk.
If Gronk were to go to another team, they would likely need to go to him much more often than the Patriots. Going to him play after play would increase the opportunity of him getting injured and being asked (forced) to play when he might need some time off.
In order to stay healthy this season Gronk succumbed to the TB12 method and seeing Alex Guerrero. If you've listened to sports radio in Boston then you've certainly heard that there's some sort of tiff between Belichick and Guerrero and that's why Brady and Gronk are unhappy. Regardless, Guerrero is based in Foxboro and is in business with Brady. If Gronk is that bought into the guru, then he better stay put. Now, should Brady retire before Gronk, then he can probably get Guerrero to follow him.

THE REST OF THE NFL- They would be the only winners if Gronk were to get traded. Whoever got him would be the clear winner with the NFC North being the runner-up. Why the NFC North? Well Gronk has had his way playing NFC teams in recent years and that's who the Patriots face in 2018.
