When trying to bring in top free agents, the Celtics have recently taken to bringing some other Boston athletes to the meet and greet. With Danny Ainge hoping to reunite 27 year old All-Star Gordon Hayward with his college coach, Brad Stevens, he needs to bring in some top guns.
Normally, when one thinks about bringing a Patriots player to recruit a stud free agent, the name Tom Brady is automatic. If you haven't heard by now, Hayward isn't a Brady fanboy. As a matter of fact he doesn't like him. Seeing as Hayward is from Indianapolis and is a Colts fan, that's completely acceptable in my opinion.
With that being said, which Patriots players should be on the recruiting squad?
The three players I'd recommend are the duo of Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola or the ultimate good guy Matthew Slater. (Since originally posting this, I've learned some new information and have added another member of the Patriots to the recruiting team).

Why Slater? Why not. He's a total team player, well spoken, and a true pillar in the community.
The late addition to my Hayward recruiting team is defensive coordinator Matt Patricia. Why Patricia? Read the tweet below and remember that Matt has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer.
If the Celtics do land Hayward he needs to get his jersey number intertwined with his logo. Maybe TB12 can give him a hand with that.
