When angry Steeler fans throw a hot coffee at the opponent’s center, clearly he’s doing something right.
The last time the Patriots played an AFC Championship away from Gillette Stadium they lost by 2 points to the Broncos. Stephen Gostkowski missed an extra point and Tom Brady was hit a record 20 times.
After the game, it came out that Patriots’ center Bryan Stork was likely tipping the snap count. As good as the Denver defense was that year, the last thing the Patriots needed to do was give Von Miller a running start.

Following that loss, offensive line coach, David DeGuglielmo was fired and Dante Scarnecchia was coaxed out of retirement. Come the following pre-season, David Andrews became the starting center.

Aside from missing 2 games due to an illness last year, Andrews has been Mr. Consistent on the offensive line. Viewed as a leader, David has been voted a team captain for the past 2 seasons.

Having attended several charity events hosted by Patriots this season, I’ve seen Andrews as a consistent fixture at those events as well. Being the ultimate teammate and having been coached by the best offensive line coach to walk the face of the Earth, #60 isn’t going to let Patriot fans down today.
