KEEP JETS UNDER 18 POINTS- Why 18 points? Well, the Jets are averaging 17.9 points per game and the Patriots' defense is giving up 18 points per game. With all the concern about Matt Patricia's defense over the past few weeks, keeping the Jets under 18 points is a starting point. Stopping them on third down and not allowing long drives will also be nice to see for a change.
STOP THE "LL"- If a player's last name ends with "LL" it's a safe bet the ball is going to him. Last season wide receiver Brandon Marshall had 8 receptions for 115 yards against the Patriots. Running back Bilal Powell scored 2 touchdowns and amassed 90 yards with his 12 touches against New England. As a running back, Powell's touches have been about 50:50 pass to run this season.
