WHAT THE PATRIOTS NEED TO DO TO BEAT THE JETS

The Patriots have lost 2 of their last 3 away games to the New York Jets.  This should be motivation enough for them to head into the game ready to play.  As always, the real key to the game is the Patriots' not shooting themselves' in the foot with turnovers.
STAY HEALTHY- Banged up offensive stars, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, are expected to play as of now.  With the calendar about to flip to December, there are two things the Patriots need to concern themselves with.  One is not letting home field advantage slip between their fingers because of a game they should have won.  The other is keeping players healthy for the playoffs.
KEEP JETS UNDER 18 POINTS-  Why 18 points?  Well, the Jets are averaging 17.9 points per game and the Patriots' defense is giving up 18 points per game.  With all the concern about Matt Patricia's defense over the past few weeks, keeping the Jets under 18 points is a starting point. Stopping them on third down and not allowing long drives will also be nice to see for a change.
CONTAIN MATT FORTE-  Forte has 7 of the Jets 8 rushing touchdowns this season.  Averaging 3.87 yards per carry, Forte has had 5 plays go over 20 yards.  If a running back is going to break for a big play and visit the endzone, I prefer it be LeGarrette Blount.  This season Blount has had 5 plays go longer than 20 yards while accumulating 12 touchdowns and 45 first downs.
STOP THE "LL"-  If a player's last name ends with "LL" it's a safe bet the ball is going to him.  Last season wide receiver Brandon Marshall had 8 receptions for 115 yards against the Patriots. Running back Bilal Powell scored 2 touchdowns and amassed 90 yards with his 12 touches against New England.  As a running back, Powell's touches have been about 50:50 pass to run this season.

Jets is a team that is composed of competitive members. We cannot deny the fact that they are the team to reckon with and it would be a huge challenge for any team to wipe them out of the game. But just like what I keep on saying, there’s always a way on how we ca make everything possible! As a fan of Patriots, I can see a lot of potential from everyone, that’s why I am pretty sure that they can bet the Jets if they will be given the chance. I am also sure that they wouldn’t lose without giving Jets a good fight!
