If you want to read a comparison of Brady and Rodgers, you'll need to go elsewhere.  If you are sick of that angle on tonight's game, then continue reading.
COMMON OPPONENTS- Halfway through the season the Patriots and Packers have played three common opponents and had the same exact results.  Of course, if you look a little closer you might have to give the advantage to the Patriots.  Both teams beat the Bears.  The Patriots beat them by 7 in Chicago while the Packers beat them by 1 at home.  Both teams also beat the Bills.  Once again, the Patriots took their victory on the road, while the Packers did so at home.

The other common opponent was the Lions.  Both teams went into Detroit and came out with losses.  The Patriots offense and defense played as if their opponent knew their every weakness.  Since it was against Matt Patricia, I'd say he does know both their individual and group weaknesses.  With the Packers in the NFC, I'd imagine Patricia has been very willing to share any scouting knowledge he has about Green Bay with his old friends in Foxboro.
GAME LOCATION- While I do think the Patriots would still win the game in Green Bay, having the game in Foxboro should make things a lot easier.  In addition to the Patriots playing slightly better at home, the Packers have been pretty pathetic away from home.  Here are a few of the big discrepancies for NE and GB based on game location (home for NE and away for GB).
  1. Points per game:  NE: 36.5  GB: 22.3
  2. 3rd down conversion:  NE: 50%  GB: 33.3%
  3. Opp 3rd down conversion: NE: 34%  GB: 42.9%
  4. TO Margin/Game: NE: +0.2 GB: -1.3

JACKSON FACTOR- Cornerback Josh Jackson has 5 penalties for the Packers.  He also has 19 tackles and 3 pass deflections.  Patriots rookie JC Jackson also has 5 penalties this year, 6 if you include the one which was declined.  JC has 2 pass deflections and 2 interceptions.  One of these Jackson's will have a play which will set the tone for the game.  Hopefully it's JC and not a yellow flag.
