So here comes my last regular season pre-game post for the Patriots this season. My app is misbehaving, my wifi is shoddy, and I'm using my cellphone. So here goes.....
When the Patriots win today, it will be the first time the Patriots have swept the a Dolphins since 2012. Coincidently, that was also the last time the Patriots finished their season with a game against the Dolphins.
While the Patriots dominate the Dolphins for most offensive categories, the teams are pretty even when it comes to rushing offense. With the Dolphins having one of the worst rushing defenses on the pksnet, you would think this might be a time to see what some of our new running backs can do. Since that is logical, Brady will probably drop back and throw the ball 50+ times today. So long as he doesn't get hurt, it's all good. After finally getting some offense from our defense, this might be a hard week for the defense to get their hands on the ball. While the Oatriots lead the league in rushing fumbles with 2, the Dolphins have held onto the pigskin this season with only 4 fumbles themselves.
Like most Patriots fans, the only thing I want to see is our team leave the field without any more injuries. We've got a bye locked up, so guaranteed homegirls would just be icing on the cake.
