The Patriots are in Miami this weekend to wrap up the AFC East with 3 games to spare. By now I'm sure you've heard that they don't play well in Miami, especially in December. FEED SONY- In their past 300 regular season games the Patriots are 50-1 when they have someone run for 100 yards. The Dolphins are ranked 30th with stopping the run. They are trending downward and worse at home than on the road. Throughout recent Patriots history, the team has not been very good on grass. This season they are 1-2. While records always have something to do with your opponent, they also have a lot to do with your team’s execution. The Patriots are always praised for their impeccable timing. Playing on grass is bound to mess with that timing. Sony played some impressive ball at Georgia. Georgia has a grass field. Michel grew up in Florida and played in the SEC, he’s built for today’s conditions.
BE READY FOR TRICK PLAYS- The Dolphins have had a lot of success against the Patriots by showing them something different and the Patriots not being ready for it. This season the Dolphins have had 2 wide receivers throw touchdown passes. Last season Miami had passing attempts by a wide receiver, tight end and punter.
