SO HOW ABOUT THEM CELTICS?

Despite have two rosters worth of players come and go from this year's team, the Boston Celtics are currently playing their way into a playoff spot.

• Winning 3 out of their last 4 on a trip out west.
• 2 wins out of the playoff picture.
• Having the lowest point discrepancy (-1.7) of any NBA team below .500. 
• Showing the ability to play their way back into games.

While they are a young team and can be frustrating to watch at times, I think the future is bright.  I also think they will be a formidable team a lot sooner than some people think.  I look at them like a high school team that is full of quality freshman and sophomores.  They beat the teams they should and put up a fight against the more experienced teams.  All they need is that strong upperclassman to move in and one more player with a little bit of moxie and they are a legitimate contender.  While I don't think they are going to get there this year, I do think they'll be there next year.  With that being said, they need to keep scrapping away and learning to win.  In my opinion a playoff appearance could do wonders for this team in the long run.  Besides giving them playoff experience, it can also make the team seem like a nice landing spot for a veteran player looking for a new team.
