After the Celtics closed out the series against the 76ers, Drew Bledsoe had a press conference of sorts. Following that the TNT talking heads completely butchered the story of how the Rozier/Bledsoe bromance started. Shaq followed that up with the ultimate troll.
Shaq being one of the great comedian athletes of all-time claimed to not know who Drew Bledsoe was. While Charles Barkley seemed unconvinced that he could be that clueless, Shaq insisted that he didn't know who he was. He then quickly commented that he's a Cowboys fan, so he doesn't know players from other teams. Upon saying that, Twitter was full of pictures of Bledsoe in his Cowboys' uniform.
While I initially fell "hook, line, and sinker", I quickly concluded that Shaq does know who Drew Bledsoe is. While they may not be friends, they were both honored a little over a year and a half ago at The Tradition.
So, why would Shaq claim to not know who Drew Bledsoe is? I'm betting it might be because one of today's biggest sports' stories was Ichiro not knowing who Tom Brady is.
