What to write which hasn't already been written. That is the question. I've started several posts over the past few days but feel like I'm either being a Debbie Downer or repeating what's already been said. I guess if I had take off from my jobs which pay the bills to write on Monday and Tuesday that would have made things easier, but oh well, here are some of my thoughts.
GAROPPOLO- Do we trade him? If we do, do we do it now or wait until summer when a team is desperate? Do we trade him and then use the pick on a quarterback? Those are a small sampling of the questions floating around about him. Personally, I think the team would be okay with letting him go because Jacoby Brissett appears to be both a good backup for the time being as well as a future starter for the Patriots.
With all the talk about Garoppolo being the most sought after quarterback in this offseason, I think it's a good time to remind fans about the following connection between him and the Cowboys' Tony Romo: In addition to both being sought after by many teams this offseason, they both are also alumni of Eastern Illinois University.

CLAUDE FIRING- While I've been on the fire Claude boat for a few years now, doing so on Tuesday was weak. I couldn't even spend quality time reacting to it because I knew I needed battery life for the parade.
