Thank god the Jets burned their timeouts early. Of course the Patriots offense did everything they could to help them out and give them a chance to take the lead.
Once again Josh McDaniels does a crappy job calling plays. The graphic below shows our running stats prior to trying to "run out" the clock.
I know I'm not an offensive coordinator and don't have the experience of Josh McDaniels, but he sucks. 12 honest attempts at running the ball all game. Actually it should be 11 because one attempt was a "try to catch the Jets sleeping" on 1st and goal that got stuffed. So technically we had 11 rushes for 62 yards. Hmm, that's an average of 5.6 yards per carry. Wouldn't want to occasionally run the ball or something to get a first down or two.
