Friday night I got the chance to ask Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan a few questions. He did not disappoint. When asked about any upcoming charity events, he did say that he was once again looking forward to rocking some lime green cleats during the NFLs Cleats for Causes event. For those who don’t know, Chris is heavily involved with the Headstrong Foundation which focuses on improving lives affected by cancer. Since Chris is know for also playing lacrosse in college, I asked him which hurts worse: getting hit full speed middle of the field in football or lacrosse. While he felt that both can be brutal, he said the key is whether or not you see it coming. Interview, including my fumble of the camera mid-way through. Curious about how Belichick delivers the playbook, I had to ask if they were still using 3-ring binders at Patriot place. Chris assured me that playbooks are now fully on iPads. He also mentioned the handiness of having quick access to videos. Additionally, he pointed out that players could take their notes right on their iPads should they choose. With Belichick having shown his disgust with the Microsoft Surface a few years back, I wonder if the Patriots are an all Apple company behind closed doors.
