Knowing how Belichick is just smarter than everyone else and is always getting his players prepared, I can't help but wonder if sticking with the passing game was just a way to give the offensive line some solid practice on something they clearly could use some work with. Maybe this week he'll let the o-line play to their strength by having a heavy run game. After all, since 2001 the team is 40-1 when they have a player rush for 100 yards or more. With a healthy Dion Lewis and well-rested LeGarrette Blount, maybe we'll rush for over 200 yards tonight! That would be one more yard than Jonas Gray ran for last November. In case you forgot, Gray is now a member of the Dolphins and will be on the opposing sideline this evening.
STOP THE RUN- Under his new regime, Lamar Miller has posted back to back 100 yard games. Seeing that he appears to be what they want to do offensively, we need to stop it. Because, that's what we do.
MOVE THE CHAINS- Early this season our strength was moving the chains consistently. The past two weeks we've had way too many quick possessions which weren't the result of an easy score. Besides having some uncharacteristic drops from Julian Edelman, we've also had completions come up short of the markers.
STAY A-WAKE- Cameron Wake had Brady's number last year. In the opener he forced 2 fumbles and had 2 sacks. After a slow start this year, Wake has collect 4 forced fumbles and 6 sacks in his last 2 games. The right side of the the offensive line better be ready to slow him down tonight.
PROTECT YOURSELF- Cheap shot, crazy man, Ndamukong Suh is now on the Dolphins.
