PATRIOTS IN ARIZONA, A FEW THINGS TO PONDER

With the Patriots out west playing against the Arizona Cardinals, I've compiled a few things to ponder before kickoff.

TIME TO PREPARE- The Patriots are coming off a Thursday game and have had a decent amount of time to prepare for tonight's game.  Of course the Cardinals are actually coming off their bye week, so the Patriots are not really getting an advantage here.

RECENT MEETINGS- Complements of the Cardinals media guide, here are some recent game results:

• 2012- Gostkowski misses a 47 yard game winner with 5 seconds left.  Cardinals win 20-18
• 2016- Arizona kicker, Chandler Cartinzaro, missed the go-ahead 47 yard field goal with just under a minute left in regulation.  Patriots won 23-21.
• 2020- Nick Folk became a folk hero with his 50 yard make at the end of the game to put the Patriots ahead 20-17.

If you happen to like in a locations where you can put a little wager on the game, you might note those similar scores and thrown down a nickle or two.  

KYLER MURRAY- In his only meeting against the Patriots he went 23 for 34 with 1 interception, 2 sacks, and no scores.  The game was tight and won on a 50 yard field goal by Nick Folk.

HOME COOKING- The Cardinals aren't doing so hot at home this year and neither is Kyler Murray.  Conversely, the Patriots and Mac Jones have been a better road team.  Advantage Patriots.

NIGHT GAMES- With Mac Jones at the helm, the Patriots are 0-3 at night.  Kyler Murray is 1-0 on the year.  Advantage Cardinals.
