- TE Sam Cotton had a nice touchdown reception where he caught it on the goal line and then used momentum to get over the line. (I'm trying to remember which player got stuffed in the same scenario last season but I'm drawing a blank).
- WRs, Austin Carr and Cody Hollister both earned a lot of cheers as they consistently came down with the ball when targeted.
- At one point in the practice Jimmy G was intentionally throwing interceptions down the left sideline in one on one coverage. He then began throwing to the offensive player as the defender would not make any attempt to deflect or intercept the passes. I'm not really sure what the purpose of that drill was, but Bill surely has a reason for it.
- Edelman and Amendola spent part of the practice sitting down. No, they weren't relaxing. They were having balls thrown at them. Their goal was to catch them and throw them back. From my distance I'm not sure if it was a football or medicine ball. I actually think it was probably a weighted football.
- Toward the end of the practice they busted out the track and field mats so the defense could practice diving to deflect low passes. To the left of the defense, special teams players were practicing blocking kicks without the aid of padding.
