Like most fans I’m in mourning. While you never really knew how many games you’d get from Gronk, knowing that this is possibly it, is sad.
- Both Gronk’s agent and Willie McGinest have floated the idea of Gronk taking the early part of the season off and then making a return during the second half. I’ve been in that camp for a while. With Rosenhaus talking about it to anyone who’ll listen, they’ll probably come up with some new rule by September.
- When the video of Vivian talking to Gronky at the parade came out, I thought for sure he was in for another year or two.
- I wonder who is more upset with Gronk’s departure, Vivvy or her dad?
- While Gronk may venture into the big screen, I do think he’ll spend most of his second career putting smiles on little kids’ faces. Gronk is all about making the day of kids. If he wants to keep being that larger than life hero in the rooms at Boston Children’s Hospital, Gronk needs to be on the shows that age group watches and not just a former Patriot.
- Impressive stats - 50% of his targets have resulted in 1st downs. 76% of his receptions have resulted in 1st downs. Had 4 total fumbles in his career. 3 of his fumbles were turnovers.
