The moral of the story is don't worry about the perceived happiness of the players. This isn't something that started recently, and it isn't something that is going away.
In case you missed it, here's a link to Kevin Faulk's take on the Patriot Way.
Yes folks, the end is near. Both Gronk and Brady are upset with the Patriots and have taken to commenting on friends' Instagram and Twitter accounts to voice their displeasure.
Well boys and girls. Players not being happy in New England really isn't anything new. Like most people who think they don't like their job and leave to find greener pastures, it happens.
The recent case study I will refer to is the original departure of Brandon Spikes. Drafted by the Patriots, Spikes only knew of the Patriot locker room. After being put on IR after being missing a snowy practice, Spikes and the Patriots parted ways.
Spikes went as far as using Twitter to calling his 4 years in New England the same as being a slave.
After spending one season in upstate New York, Spikes was excited and apologetic when he was brought back to New England on a one year deal. Unfortunately, Spikes got himself, or at least his vehicle, involved in a hit and run.
The moral of the story is don't worry about the perceived happiness of the players. This isn't something that started recently, and it isn't something that is going away. In case you missed it, here's a link to Kevin Faulk's take on the Patriot Way.
