When I wrote my pregame outlook of the Patriots' game, I anticipated the weather being much worse than it actually was. With that being said, I think I was pretty accurate with my prediction. I'm glad it didn't take long to dispel the theory that New England was messing with the Steelers' radio signals. While it didn't end up affecting the game, I wonder if this missed "delay of game" penalty was caused by communication problems. For those who didn't pick up on this during the live game, I'll give you a quick recap. After New England went up 7-0, the defense looked like it was going to get Brady back on the field in a hurry by causing a 3 and out. Although the clock clearly expired before the ball was snapped, the Steelers would gain 43 yards on this play and briefly take back some momentum. Scobee returned the momentum to the Patriots when he missed his second field goal of the night.
