Bruins' fans brought some needed energy to the team as they extended their win streak to 12 games.
With tonight's victory the Bruins have now won 12 games in a row.  This is their longest winning streak since 1971.  For portions of the game it appeared the Bruins didn't have their legs and would have their streak end in Phoenix.  Eventually, the Bruins would get their second wind and be able to match the Coyotes energy level and score.
The Bruins started off the first period looking pretty strong as they took the lead 3 minutes into the game on Patrice Bergeron's 22nd goal of the season.  The Coyotes knotted the score midway through the first period and maintained relative control of the game for the next 20 minutes.  Starting off the second period with a man advantage, the Coyotes caught the Bruins on their heals as Oliver Ekman-Larsson went by Eriksson and Boychuck en route to scoring his 12th goal of the season.
The Bruins would tie the game in the 3rd when Chara hit a bullet from just inside the blue line.  The rocket would result in an assist for Chara as Iginla deflected it into the net for his 27th of the season.  The game winner would come from an unlikely source as Shawn Thornton netted his 5th goal of the season when he was muscling his way in front of the Coyotes' net while Daniel Paille was trying to get a shot on net.  Iginla would get his second goal of the game and effectively put the game on ice when he put in the empty netter in the final minute.  With that goal, Iginla now has 100 muti-goal games in his career.

Although Rask looked lost on the Coyotes second goal, he had multiple highlight worthy saves.  At one point he made 3 consecutive saves using his stick handle on an otherwise wide open net.

The seventh player award in tonight's contest would have to go to the fans as they were cheering loudly for the Bruins from the second the puck dropped.
