BRADY- When you are the best quarterback in the NFL you get the biggest contract that has ever been given to any guy at that position. If some young guy with one lucky year gets his payday, you walk in and demand a raise from ownership. You don't restructure your contract so some other guy on your team can stick around for a few more years or your boss can pick up some defensive stud for another Superbowl run. That's just cheating.
- Oh, we are about to have a turnover and I'm out of bounds? Let me reach out and put a fingertip on the ball to kill the play.
- Oh Hamilton just stepped out of bounds behind the endzone, I'm going to make him look open so Big Ben throws him the ball.
IT'S NOT IN THE RULEBOOK- Those defensive players always know who we want to throw the ball to because of the stupid numbers on their jerseys. Well, I have some offensive lineman who can catch better than my receivers and some skill players who are better blockers. I'll just switch around who's doing what and let the officials tell the other team for us. Oh, the officials and opponents couldn't handle that, better rewrite the rulebook.
NON-SEC PLAYERS- The Patriots have too many players on their team who did not play in the SEC. Additionally, they have too many players from Rutgers on their defense. To prevent any future cheating of this sort, the Patriots will have to divulge any drafting or free agent signings of players from Rutgers and any non-BCS schools to the rest of the league and allow for another team to take that player instead of the cheating Patriots.
WAIVER WIRE WATCHING- So, you're the top ranked team in the NFL which makes you the last team to pick a player up off waivers? So, you let a player you like who knows your system clear waivers (get paid by the other guy) and then pick him up for less. Thanks again Pittsburgh Steelers. Oh, some receiver got into trouble with the law over the weekend, but his team appears to be sticking with him. The Patriots were clearly in the wrong paying attention to the waiver wire in the middle of the week.
ESP- Somehow Bill Belichick and his people know when a journeyman player will fit in with the Patriots. They also know when a player is on the decline. Clearly there is either a crystal ball or voodoo doll being used over at Gillette. Either way, those are both illegal in the NFL.
KRAFTY OWNERSHIP- Robert Kraft is supposed to be like other owners and get in the way of the decisions the general manager is trying to make. At the very least, he should have kids who are ready to sell off the team to the highest bidder the second they have the opportunity. He is not supposed to be rocking Air Force 1s in a suit and palling around with Jay Z. And he most definitely is not supposed to have a son who has excellent business sense and moral character. All the way to the top, the Patriots are cheaters.
