I try not to blame wins and losses on coaches, but it's hard not hand Friday's loss to the Astros to John Farrell. While the game is still in progress, I'm plenty confident that this game is over and I won't have to start this post over.
hit for Mike Napoli?
While seeing Napoli hit for himself was annoying, it is not the reason I'm writing a blog instead of sleeping right now. Not that I want to hear that Koji Uehara is injured, but what the hell? He comes into a tie game, throws 11 pitches and that's it? The guy hasn't played since June 30th. A quick 11 pitch inning and he's out? That's just a brilliant time to bring in Noe Ramirez. Oh, you don't know Noe? Maybe that's because he was making his major league debut tonight. That my friends is why my blood pressure is through the roof. Farrell, taking Uehara out of a game with a 11 pitches to bring in a rookie. How incompetent can you be? What were his grandparents at the game so you wanted to make sure he got in the game?
Ok rant over, I need to go to bed since I'm working in the morning. If someone could check into John Farrell's finances and see if the man has some sort of gambling problem, that would be good.
