So Danny Amendola hung up on Adam Jones because Adam Jones kept asking the same question. I for one would like to get a high-five to Mr. Amendola for that action.
It's amazing to me that some talkshow host would get his panties stuck in a wad when someone he is talking to hangs up on him. I say this because it seems on a daily basis talkshow hosts hang up on people who call into their shows. And usually the people they hang up on are the people that actually have a clue as to what's going on in the world. Just throwing some numbers out at you because as sports fans we like our numbers. I don't know probably seven out of 10 people who get hung up on by sports radio hosts in the Boston market probably have a really good point that just doesn't happen to go along with the host. As in they are about to prove the host's point completely wrong and the host does not want that to happen.The other three callers maybe they're not getting to their point so it's not working or sometimes they are just giving dead air.
On a similar note, I swear the only people that they let get on air half the time are people who yell for no apparent reason. They seem to get all their sports information from watching ESPN. Maybe there is some disorder that I don't know about where people try to channel their inner Stephen A. Smith. Whatever it is, they seem to have no clue about what they are yelling about, but the talk show hosts like to listen to them yell so we keep them on the air and just turn around and cut off people who actually can talk some sense.
Well maybe I'm just a little disgruntled because the one time I did call into a radio station they laughed at my idea. Well at least I think Theo might've been listening. I say that because my ridiculous idea was to trade Nomar for Orlando Cabrera. Now obviously that trade deal involved a lot of other players but in the end that's really what happened.
