This article was edited on 12/31/18 to update the 2018 statistics. You've heard it before. Tom Brady gets all the calls. If you even breath on the guy, you're going to get a flag. If you've heard that story before, you might want to read on and bookmark this page for future reference.
While randomly looking at the NFL Penalty Tracker website, I came across the 2009-2018 roughing the passer by quarterback statistics. It is important to know that these statistics only include quarterbacks who have played in a minimum of 40 games. Because of this, there are definitely a bunch of players who would be in the top five for any given year if not for the 40 game requirement. I've narrowed down the lists to the top 5 for each year including ties. Since he isn't in the top 5 most years, I've also included Tom Brady.
So, there you go. Ten years of roughing the passer stats and Brady made the top ten twice and led the league once. Yep, it sure seems like he always gets the call.

He by far leads the league in bad calls for roughing. That he sees relatively little pressure in general is why he is not leading the league. Everybody outside of the the Boston area knows this and you do too that's why you are trying to make excuses Much Love
