David Ortiz launched a lot of pitches over the wall against teams throughout his career. When the Yankees moved into their new home, Ortiz continued his dominance with 15 homers in the new stadium. Without David’s bat in the lineup it sure seems like the Red Sox are one of the few teams who doesn’t hit well in New York. With the Red Sox spending the weekend in the Bronx, I decided to take a closer look at their scoring in NY.
Looking at the above tables, you can easily see that for some reason the Red Sox do struggle to score runs atYankee Stadium. In addition to scoring less run in Yankee Stadium than they do at other ball parks, they also score less runs than other teams who visit the Yankees.

David Ortiz is just like the other athletes. When something has changed in their home court, they will feel it and try to adjust from it as soon as possible. But as a professional athlete, Ortiz surely knows what to do with a situation like this. There's no reason for you not to admire such athlete with this attitude! Sometimes, playing not within our comfort zone could be very risky. But we still need to do it because it's part of our job!
