A quick three and out followed by a great defensive stand started out this game.
Next possession, and more of the same from the Patriots' offense. They are giving up on the run way too easily. A fun stat for you to know is that on their first 20 rushes of a game the Patriots average just over 4 yards. On rushes beyond that they average over 8 yards. They also have one of the lowest percentages of being stuffed.
On the Broncos' next possession they marched down the field only to settle for a field goal. Wow, I'll take that any day of the week.
On their third possession of the quarter the Patriots got some first downs. Brady also showed us his lack off accuracy beyond 15 yards. Good Grief!!!! At the end of the quarter the Patriots are looking at 4th and 16 and down by 3 points.
